Privacy Policy

Effective 1 October 2026

Topsway analyses LinkedIn profiles and helps professionals improve how they present themselves. Topsway is operated by Memriq Holdings, Inc. ("Memriq", "we"), which is the controller of the personal information described here.

To do its job Topsway reads information about people who are not Topsway members — the people in a member's LinkedIn network, the people who react to or comment on a member's posts, and anyone whose profile address a member gives us. This policy says plainly what that information is, why we hold it, and how anyone can have it removed.

What Topsway keeps about you, the member

• Your account — your name and email address, and a password or your Google or LinkedIn sign-in.
• Your LinkedIn profile — the profile at the address you give us, as LinkedIn shows it publicly: headline, about section, experience, education, skills, certifications, recommendations, photo, location, languages, pronouns, whether you are open to work or have LinkedIn Premium, test scores, follower and connection counts, and the email address on the profile if one is shown. We fetch it through a data provider and keep a copy so we can show your history.
• Your LinkedIn activity — your recent posts, comments and reactions, with the web addresses of the posts and profiles involved, and our analyses of how they performed.
• Your analyses and plans — scores, recommendations, rewritten copy, the goal you set, and your conversations with Topsway's planning assistant.
• Your LinkedIn session, only if you connect it — you sign in to LinkedIn yourself, inside a browser window that Topsway runs on its servers; what you type passes through that window to LinkedIn. Topsway keeps the signed-in session, not your password, so it can read your network and, only if you choose "Keep watch every week", re-check your profile on its own.
• Payments — which plan you hold and your credit balance. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store them.
• Support conversations — what you write to Topsway's support chat or feedback button.

What Topsway keeps about people who are not members

• Your network — if you connect your LinkedIn session, Topsway reads your connections and followers as LinkedIn shows them to you: each person's name, headline, current title and company, location and profile address. It uses them to analyse who your profile reaches.
• People who engage with your posts — the profile addresses of people who reacted to or commented on your posts, and the comments themselves.
• A profile you ask about — if you give Topsway a profile address that is not yours, Topsway fetches and keeps that public profile the same way it keeps yours.

These people have not agreed to anything with us. We use their information only to produce the member's own analysis; we do not contact them, sell their information, or build a profile of them for any other purpose.

What Topsway never does

Topsway never posts, comments, reacts, connects, messages or edits a LinkedIn profile on anyone's behalf. You can disconnect your LinkedIn session at any time.

Services that process it for us

• Railway — runs Topsway's servers.
• MongoDB Atlas — stores Topsway's records, in the United States.
• Neo4j Aura — stores what Topsway's analysis assistant learns from its work.
• OpenAI — the language model that scores and rewrites a profile and runs the planning assistant.
• ReverseContact — fetches a public LinkedIn profile, and may fetch a member's public posts, comments and reactions.
• Apify — may fetch a member's public posts, comments and reactions.
• Stripe — takes payments.
• Resend — delivers the emails Memriq sends you, through Memriq's one sender.
• Google — signs you in, if you choose Google, and counts visits to topsway.ai through Google Analytics.
• LinkedIn — signs you in, if you choose LinkedIn.

How we see the site being used

topsway.ai uses Google Analytics to count visits and pages viewed. Memriq's feedback button records what happens on the page while you use Topsway — what is shown, where you click, and errors — so that a problem you report can be seen and fixed. What you type into forms is masked in those recordings.

How long it is kept

Topsway keeps your information while your account is open. Support messages are kept for 2 years, server logs for 90 days, and billing records for 7 years. Backups can hold deleted data for up to 35 days before it is gone from them too.

Deleting it, correcting it, or getting a copy

You can delete your account yourself, in Settings → Delete my account. That deletes your account, your LinkedIn profile data and activity, your network, your analyses and plans, and the information about other people that was collected through your account — except two things, which it does not yet remove automatically: copies of other people's public profiles that you looked up, and what Topsway's analysis assistant stored while working for you. Write to privacy@memriq.ai and we remove those too. The same address gives you a copy of what we hold about you, or corrects it; we acknowledge within 5 business days and finish within 30 days.

If you are not a Topsway member and believe Topsway holds information about you — because you are connected to, follow, or engaged with a member, or a member looked up your profile — write to privacy@memriq.ai with your LinkedIn profile address. We will tell you what we hold and delete it within 30 days.

If you are in the EU or UK

We rely on the contract with you to run Topsway, on our legitimate interests to keep it working and secure and to analyse the network information described above for the member who asked, and on your consent for anything else. Your information is processed in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses. You may complain to your local data protection authority.
